Transfer to Port Trust

(1) On an appointed day there shall be transferred to the Port
Trust all powers duties and obligations of the Harbour Master and the
Hong Kong government which are stated in the Third Schedule.
(2) The Governor in Council may from time to time by order declare
that any other powers, duties, or obligations of the Harbour Master of
of the Hong Kong Government shall be transferred to the Port Trust.
(3) The transfer to the Port Trust of any powers, authorities, duties, functions or obligations in pursuance of this Ordinance shall not until further or other provision is made under this Ordinance, affect the validity or the force or effect of any proclamation, notification, order, demand, or notice duly made, published, served, or given, any lease or licence duly granted, any certificates duly issued, any form
duly prescribed, any authority duly given, any appointment duly made of
any officer, servant or employee of any kind whatsoever, or any act or
thing duly done under the authority of any Ordinance before the appointed
day.
20.
On and from the appointed day the following provisions shall,
subject to this Ordinance, have effect
(a) The management and control of all property real and personal
which is included in the Port by virtue of section 3.
(b) All leases mentioned in the Third Schedule and all licences
issued by the Harbour Master shall be decmed to be leases and
licences granted and issued by the Port Trust and the Port
Trust shall have in respect of each such lease or license the
same rights and remedies and the same liabilities and
obligations as if the lease or license had been granted or
issued by the Port Trust after the appointed day.
(c) all rates, dups, fees, charges, moneys, liquidated and
unliquidated claims, which immediately before the appointed
day are payable to or recoverable by the Crown, the Financial
Secretary, the Harbour Master or any person on behalf of the
Crown or the Financial Secretary under or by virtue of any of the Ordinances referred to in the Fourth Schedule or any
rules, regulations, or by-laws made under any such Ordinances
